BCC-IWLA encourages sustainable practices by offering garden plots to its members for a nominal fee ($20 per year for a 25’x25′ plot). The gardens are located on what is believed to be the former pig-raising facility – you won’t need any additional fertilizer.
The gardens are home to a greenhouse, which is being used to raise American Chestnuts.
The fruit orchard is between the Shotgun Range and the Chapter House. We grow apples, pears, peaches, and an assortment of berries.
