NRA Basic RSO Training Course
This Instructor led non-shooting course is designed to provide NRA Certified Range Safety Officers (RSOs) with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. Students learn the roles and responsibilities of an RSO, Range Standard Operating Procedures, range inspection, range rules, range briefings, emergency procedures, and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. RSO candidates should be experienced shooters and involved in many aspects of shooting, training, and range supervision. You must be 21 years of age and older to take this course. Students receive an NRA RSO Student Packet and are eligible to apply for NRA RSO credentials after successful course completion. $50 discount for B-CC IWLA members (provide your B-CC IWLA member number in the “Notes/Special Request” registration section).
