This introduction will cover gun safety, holding and carrying, pointing and shooting and provide overview of the general types of clay target shooting. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot at clay targets on the range. Please note that this is not intended to be a training course, rather an opportunity to give our members a chance to shoot and better understand the sport of clay targets.
There will be a minimal charge of $10 per shooter to cover the cost of targets and ammunition.
We are limiting attendees to 20 to ensure that everyone gets a chance to shoot. Members must sign up in advance via the signup genius. This will also allow us to reschedule if weather conditions require. The event should last ~ 2hrs.
