March 29: NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course
($225 Non-Member, $175 Member)

This Instructor led beginning course with no prerequisite is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safe rifle shooting. Students learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals and positions, range rules, cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students are encouraged to bring their own rifle and ammunition or use instructor rimfire, carbine, and AR-15 rifles with ammunition provided and shoot in multiple positions. Students receive the NRA Guide to Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules card, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate. $50 discount for B-CC IWLA members (provide your B-CC IWLA member number in the “Notes/Special Request” registration section). Live-fire portion is conducted onsite at a premier outdoor shooting range. More NRA training courses coming soon!
