The Shotgun Range, is one of the Chapter’s most dynamic and social venues, offering members a variety of clay target sports that keep the traditions of wing shooting alive and accessible. The range features trap, skeet, wobble trap, sporting clays, and five-stand, giving shooters of all skill levels the chance to practice and compete in different disciplines. From the steady rhythm of skeet to the unpredictable flight paths of wobble and the hunting-style scenarios of sporting clays and five-stand, there is always a new challenge to keep shooters sharp and engaged.
The range is designed not only for individual practice but also as a place to meet new people. Rounds are shot in groups, with members rotating through stations, sharing advice, and cheering each other on. Organized leagues, fun shoots, and seasonal competitions add to the lively atmosphere, while instructional clinics help new shooters and youth develop safe and effective shooting habits. Range officers and experienced members are always on hand to maintain the highest standards of safety and sportsmanship.
