Dinner Meetings

Each month, on the third Wednesday, the we host our Monthly Dinner & Membership Meeting. The evening begins with appetizers and social time around 5:30pm followed by dinner served between 6:15 and 6:30 pm (cost: $15 per person). After dinner, at around 7:30 pm, the formal membership meeting begins, covering chapter business, updates, planning, and member questions. These dinners are not just for business; they are an important opportunity for members old and new to connect, hear committee reports, and stay engaged in the life of the chapter.

New or prospective members are encouraged (and required) to attend three dinner meetings as part of their path to full membership. The meetings run until about 8:30 pm in most months. The chapter calendar publishes the details well in advance, including any special topics or guest speakers.

Once a quarter, we feature a child friendly dinner. At these meetings, children are strongly encouraged to attend and take part in conservation related activities while their parents take part in the meeting. The activities start after the guest introductions and have included things such as animal tracking, archery, fishing, scavenger hunts, handling animals and haunted trails. The events are seasonal and varied.
