DESCRIPTION:Stop the Bleed Training\nA bleeding injury can happen anywhere. In worst-case scenarios\, an injured person can bleed to death in one to five minutes – often much faster than first responders can arrive and render aid. Bystanders trained to control bleeding can make all the difference. Become one by participating in STOP THE BLEED training. \nOn Saturday\, May 11\, the Adventure Committee will host instructors from STOP THE BLEED to train chapter members on how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control it. The training session will happen at the chapter house\, starting at 11:00am and lasting approximately one hour.
